Sponsored by the China-United States Exchange Foundation, the 10th U.S. – China High-Level Political Party Leaders Dialogue was organized by the EastWest Institute in partnership with the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in 2017. This delegation was headed by Alphonso Jackson, former Secretary of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and Martin O’Malley, former Governor of State of Maryland. They met with senior officials from the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Beijing, China. These Chinese senior officials including Yang Jiechi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Song Tao, Minister of International Department of CPC Central Committee. These dialogue bring together high-level party leaders from both countries to discuss the realities and opportunities of the China-U.S. relationship.
