The students from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy continued their journey in China with CUSEF following their time in Beijing.

They were immersed in both the ancient and modern Xi’an, from the Terracotta Army to the Hi-tech Industries Development Zone.

The delegates also had the opportunity to visit Xi'an International University, where they had the chance to experience activities such as Tai Chi and Chinese calligraphy.

Next, they ventured to Shanghai, where they cruised on the Huangpu River enjoying the vibrance of the city, and visited the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, continuing their emphasis on fostering meaningful engagement.

At CUSEF, we believe in the power of person-to-person exchanges in fostering mutual understanding. CUSEF is proud to organize these student exchange programs to help the people of both countries to work together and better understand each other's perspectives.
