We had the privilege of welcoming Ambassador Fu Ying to the inaugural CUSEF Leaders Lounge, a new signature program that features global figures in dialogue with our community members.

Ambassador Fu is a renowned career diplomat who served as China’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Philippines. She was Chairperson of the National People's Congress Foreign Affairs Committee, and helped lead special initiatives including the Six-Party Talks to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula.

The Leaders Lounge included many leaders in Hong Kong’s business sector such as CUSEF Chairman John Zhao, among others. Following opening remarks from Ambassador Fu, where she unpacked the complex conditions in U.S.-China relations, she exchanged ideas with the audience. This conversation was moderated by CUSEF President James Chau.
